Fixed Weather Station
Apr 2024 - Jun 2024
A fixed environmental weather-station prototype developed during my internship at ESIEE Paris, integrating Arduino-based hardware, environmental sensors, data acquisition modules, and local data logging.

Project Overview
What I built
During my internship at ESIEE Paris, I contributed to the design, development, assembly, and testing of a fixed weather station for collecting environmental measurements through multiple sensors. The project combined embedded programming, sensor communication, hardware integration, data acquisition, physical assembly, and prototype testing.
Challenge
The problem I needed to solve
The system needed to collect measurements from several environmental sensors while coordinating different hardware interfaces through a single embedded controller. This required careful wiring, sensor integration, communication management, hardware assembly, and testing to ensure that the different modules could operate together reliably.
Approach
How I approached it
I worked with an Arduino-based architecture connected to several environmental sensing and supporting modules. The prototype included data-acquisition hardware, an I2C multiplexer, SD card storage, a real-time clock, solar sensing, wind sensing, a black globe sensor, and humidity and temperature sensing components. I contributed to Arduino programming, component integration, soldering, sensor testing, and troubleshooting hardware-software interactions.
